Positive Behavior Team Invite

The PTSA is partnering with the teachers and administration of ECMS to support their new, nationally know program called POSITIVE BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION & SUPPORTS (PBIS). PBIS is a research based, school wide, positive behavioral program which aims to teach & reward appropriate positive behaviors.

Our initial task in this partnership is to give out the rewards during each grade level scheduled lunchtime. Students who have earned reward cards will be able to "purchase" prizes, at our table, set up just outside the cafeteria, during lunchtime hours on a weekly bases, currently scheduled for every Thursday of the month starting tomorrow, if at all possible.

This is an awesome opportunity to partner with and to take an active roll, impacting the learning climate at your child's/children's school, through the support of the PTSA and the PBIS program. It's a great, easy volunteer opportunity where we get to interact with the students and staff "selling" prizes at our "PBIS" table. Please consider signing up on a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly basis. It's an easy way to schedule it into your busy calendar on a regular basis! You get to see you child and meet a lot of your kids new and old friends at school.
