Good News at ECMS

• Sixth grade students took a field trip to the Tellus Museum.

• The STEM class and the Build and Design Club will be hosting an Hour of Code this week in conjunction with the nationwide Hour of Code event: http://hourofcode.com/us. The STEM classes will be doing the Hour of Code during class, and the Build and Design Club will host it after school on Wednesday, Dec 10, from 4:30 - 5:30.

• And finally, 2 of the 12 finalists for the Water Smart Water Art calendar were from ECMS and their art was submitted by Angela Lockman, our art teacher. Sixth graders, Katie F. and Jackson T., were chosen out of over 200 entries from Cobb and Paulding counties.  Katie's art also received the honor of "most creative."
